Yea what Perry said! High Voltage in there where you have to adjust bias.

Turn the dial to 20 and this will read out volts on the meter.
Is it time to build a dim bulb tester? We can walk you thru one, really no biggie to build one .
And get a pair of mini-grabbers test leads.

Mike, changed the meter setting to 20 and I get 0.00 in both channels

I have no play money to build anything and don't have any mini grabbers. Maybe this will just be saved for someone who does this stuff to get right

I am beyond stupid when it comes to this stuff and this is not an amp for a crash course

Screw it
Please be careful, there is DEADLY VOLTAGE in that box to go with the deadly db levels when jamming. You will be picking yourself off the floor in a day or two if you get tagged.

I am well aware of that Perry, been zapped by old TVs when I was younger and even more stupid, one time knocked me into a wall LMAO and the screwdriver was welded to the chassis. Trust me, I don't need any hair raising experiences with a Phase Linear bomb

So is that good that at the 20 setting it is not showing any voltage?

Did the LED meters jump all the way to the right and settle back all the way left and stayed lit during power up?
since there is no dc on the outputs, its good to go or dead.
Fire it up brother

Ok, feeling FINE ahhhhhh....

Fire 'er up?

This is the deal, I paid $5 for 2 pair of minty no issues Infinity RS1's

One pair sacrificed to the Black Sabbath Gods?

Seems like a no brainer

Ok, I was thinking since that channel that has only a tiny jump now and settles right down to only hook the speaker ground side and check w/ the multimeter to make sure it's settled down and then do the gasline if ok?

You guys are out smokin' to so not that we are all baked

Why not?

Going to hook up the Carver C1 w/ the dbx DX5 CDP w/ our newly elected speakers now walking down the Green Mile

Will there be a last minute reprieve or will the CO forget to wet the sponge?

Going to set this up and I will hopefully have a vid of the execution, pardon the mess, packed boxes and shit everywhere that needs to go out to the pod yet by why bother? Still no interior contractor as the ones that came so far said the job was to big for them or too far away :happy2:

You're in milli volts Ron. In the 20 range you shouldn't get a reading with that meter. Those cost a couple hundred more...

Broken beyond repair but highly affable
It's not all that funny to me...you could sell those speakers to half the membership of AK and they'd be pleased.
