Not a problem with that, the 24,25 combination has been around a long time. If your just getting them up and running nothing wrong with em.

Now if, on the other hand, you were building for ultimate reliability the 95,96 pairs would be the way to go.
Hell, I got 95/96's. Nothing else needed? Thanks

Perry, amp came about a 1/2hr ago. I put the probes to it like you said

Right channel is -0.38
Left channel was like 30.0+ volts when I first put the probes to it!!! I left the probes in and it's going down after a few minutes, right now it is at +01.0 and still seems to be dropping slowly

Could this just be condensation since the amp has not equalized to room temp yet

Is it safe to try out?

Also, when I engaged the power button, it stayed pushed in so I will have to mess with it to get it to shutoff after I let it sit for awhile unplugged and take the faceplate off

EDIT down to +00.9

EDIT +00.8 and holding steady
The power buttons/attenuator buttons could use some spray or maybe somebody has a good part number for replacement. I plan on bypassing both of them for my builds and leaving them as dummies. If you still have DC on the output, don't hook up or BOOM BOOM, OUT GO THE LIGHTS.....

The faceplates tend to shift during shipment. Loosen up the face and center the button. You may get lucky and it was just the face pushing on the top or bottom of the button.

Ok, after 5 minutes or so, I just checked that channel again and it's holding steady at +00.7 with the meter set up as shown in the image

Ok, took the faceplate off, that was the issue Perry. There is some gunk on the grey plastic also which I will clean off

I put the probes to it and it pretty instantly settles to 00.4/5
