Doug: Whoa, that's surely a phone app worth having. It did save your behind, as how else could you have explained the discrepancy. Do I need to have a passport to cross the border, or will the Enhanced Drivers license be enough?

Nando.
EDL is enough. Here's a link to a very old page about it.

Meanwhile, everything is paid for and ready to send next week, so no fretting. We've got a few of you left to get to the olde-fashioned way or something so let's do this one least time for the good old CD...

Maybe Doug can rip it and show us what he can do...remember that it has to be something all of us can get, without jumping through hoops and registering for a site.

This Elf will still be producing the materials to download.

ENJOY!

I met up with Doug last Monday around the corner from the tow yard I work from to get my Christmas CD. There's only an hour or so after I get home at night to make dinner etc. before I have to get to bed. But I have been listening to CD a couple of songs per day and figured if I didn't post something soon, I might be thought of as ungrateful.

A fine job, composing the titles - the mix of genres fits well together. Since I have no family to speak of, someone usually has me for Christmas dinner. I will be bringing the CD to the home of whomsoever has the good taste to invite me this year and it will be the Christmas dinner background music.

Forgot to say that the Phoenix C90 was a nice surprise. Being as the inception of those tapes was before my time on this forum, I did a little reading. So by the sounds of it, those tapes were Larry's baby and never to be seen again. If that's the case, I'm somewhat reluctant to unwrap and use it.

Larry would have a problem with that. To the Larrt there were no sacred cows, or museum pieces...

Dr. Bo sells them with his vast warehouse of others on eBay, and he was one of the distributors when PATC was in business. All 80 of them were through his extremely valued generosity.

There is a mixture of Red and Blue Chrome C-90s, mostly Blues. They are there because I wanted to share Larry's legacy in the one way I knew I might still be able to--his cassettes. I don't know where he sourced the screen printing, J-card printing and cases but Phoenix Audio cassettes were and are seriously high quality products that he could be proud of, which is the only way Larry would have it.

And don't ask about that damned King loader!

The Phoenix Blues are a good tape. If I recall correctly, the shells were loaded with BASF chrome. In one of our Travelling Tape projects, started here, we used the Blues.

OKAY...I updated the list of those I haven't heard from in post #1.

I want to get every one of these mailing out the door and in somebody's hands, but if not possession IS 9/10ths of the law...I will end up with more Chromes.

Not today, not tomorrow, maybe eventually...so get them now.

I want to finish mailing by MONDAY if I can.

UK/EUROPE is going out next, and any more that are claimed. I got all the US, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand ones sent and I've possibly missed someone. Let me know. I'm not greedy.

One to amaze you!

The USPS receipt.jpg It's the over six feet of the USPS receipt! This was for yesterday when I sent most of it!

Ron: Red or Blue, you are getting a 90 as soon as the 50+ I mailed yesterday gets there, and all the UK/European ones got out today.

There are SEVEN MAILINGS UNATTACHED and waiting for names. Give it some time, and if I still have spares next month I could help you, or you can go on eBay and find 'dr.bo', because he's got many more to sell you.

Did you see my post earlier? That narrow picture is an over six foot long USPS receipt for the US packages I sent yesterday, and it's nearly as tall as my kitchen entry (I enclosed it in a red box).
