Don't FEAR the fridge reapers! (They mean $60 is coming in 4-6 weeks!) :glasses8:

BTW - I enjoyed the photo of the guy in the blue shirt eyeing your audio gear as he trundled the 'frige past your groaning shelves...

Those shelves are going to get some help to hold them up underneath.

And now, here's something I know you'll REALLY like!

!. Nice price: $275!

2. Another guy eyeing your audio gear - the guy in the checked shirt this time.

3. You know you're should let the refrigerant settle for 24 hours after a 'fridge move, right?

can you hardly blame the guy? that's one big-ass stack of rather distinctively unusual and cool stuff right then and there...
it's probably the most interesting thing the fellow has seen in at least the last month worth of mundane and tedious appliance humping...

they were trying not to HIT anything...

oh, and it's working just fine...it traveled all of 6 blocks and the shop owner is not only a long-time friend (not the ones in the pictures, he's not capable of moving stuff like that anymore) and actually served at Guantanamo at the same time my dad did (during the Missile Crisis).

Okay, first I want to thank Web Police for the really nice cassette decks I bought from him.

Then I want to show Lee what's in the freezer, fridge and cupboard. I've had some of it but meat isn't so cheap and I concentrated on canned goods and some fruit. I have/had apples, oranges, bananas, onions and I ate the cheddar and most of the pickle chips. :)

As for the food bank, I don't go until late in the month. You can only use them 12 times a year at the three available and I'll still defer when there is a big line and it looks sparse.

I have to pay some rent, phone/DSL (fixed), power, gas (even in the summer, HUD requires the pilot to be left on), medical and prescription co-payments, cash for food on top of only 78 dollars in food stamps.

AND I DO IT. I tried to sell more than a few things that I could that weren't a GIFT and nothing worked. So I bought that CD changer's remote for $17 and I'll use it for a while and probably give it as a Christmas gift later on.

I have enough to eat for a good while.

Then I got my statin and razors, thanks to Lee.

I have plenty of cat food too and I am cleaning out both the remnants of Web's shipment and taking out the trash.

I'm going to go finish paying the power bill in a couple more hours.

I'm sorting through stuff to put more away while I wait.

I've been up since 1 am. I hope I'm not disappointing anyone. I'm it but one day of the month and I don't ask Marlin to do a ton either. He and his boy helped with mowing and clearing stickerweeds while I worked in here last Saturday. I think he has the same problem I do with my brain. He can't remember where to go in town so I have to be patient and help him. He's also the best man my sister ever found, father of her children and a solid part of my family, like my father was.

I'm gonna change the mouse...I can't even get the attachments to upload.
