k as long as you don't do anything she doesn't want to do. She's a cuddler and so needy some days, and at the same time can turn and hiss at me if i've petted to hard....

Yep!

The 'up step transformer' arrived this morning, and I've finally got everything up and running, and all I can say is, ".... how sweet it is".
I'm just so impressed with the way it all came together so nicely, and it all sounds just great.
Absolutely NO probs with the voltage.

That's The 'Baby BEAN'.
It's a dual 12AU7 pre-amp, built by a mate of mine, who also built my The 'BEAN' 6x EL84 amp.
His name is Bean, so that is what I call them.
He's so clever. He got into re-building Phase Linears for a while too, and became most expert on them, but then realised there's lots better out there, including his own designs. So even though he's kept all his PL's, he never uses them.
It's a privilege to own some of his work. :)
