off to peel some prawns for the kids.
wot really sh*ts me, is that they've gone off the really big (easy to peel) prawns, and only eat the really tiny (very hard to peel) ones now.
it's a 'mindfield' here…..
there's a conspiracy here, I just know it.

Not quite time lapse photography. Wasn't it Crocodile Dundee who said "That's not a prawn..... Pause.....That's a PRAWN!

Nando.

Well, it just jumped from 27 to 31 degrees in 20 minutes.
it's goon be a stinker today, hitting a top of 40.
off to the shop before it's too late.
might have to stick my head in the microwave to cool down when i get back.

Jeez Nando, you eat as good as my cats do!
That looks so yummy.
Your cats are lucky to have a momma cat like you. Most cats would love a seafood smorgasbord once in awhile. I have some fresh prawns saved in the freezer for a special member who is one generous guy. We are meeting on Monday. I hope he loves seafood.

…. yeh, me too, but I never get a chance to eat wot I serve. :(
One day I'll stuff both of 'em up, and eat the whole lot in front of 'em. LoL…..

George: I bought McCartney's "NEW" CD, today.

Oh wow, Nando. Nice one. Some tunes don't come on as strong as others at first, but it grows on you real fast.
As you say, "diversity" is a good thing.

Maybe you can get "Memory Almost Full" next…..
;)

I may just do that George. Thanks for supplying the inspiration to hearing a bit of McCartney, for a change.

Nando, I know only too well, that some music may necessitate specialist tastes, but with McCartney, almost anyone can appreciate most of his stuff.
I'm often humming his songs like 'Dance Tonight' and even songs as far back as 'Ram On' in my head.

Well today I'm more upset than anything….
I just found out one of my beloved Sulphur Crested Cockatoos is dying of a nasty thing called Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psittacine_beak_and_feather_disease
It was so quick to come on, and now he's so sick, and I'm so saddened that I might never see him anymore sooner than later and he's just going to fly away and die somewhere a horrible death, and I can't help him.
He was my most favourite, as he was the friendliest and most affectionate and allowed me to even give him scratches and even chat.
This is just too heartbreaking……..
:(

George: Sad news for your cockatoo. My kids had a parrot which suffered a slow decay of its beak and it's quite common for parrots to have that happen to them.

Thank you Nando.
I'm sad to say, I'm almost an expert on the subject now, and wot upsets the most in knowing there's nothing I can do, and he'll suffer.
Oh well…..

George, if it helps to defray this time of sadness, I have been enjoying the new McCartney CD. There was one tune I heard on the radio I was sure it sounded like David Bowie and it turns out it was Paul M: Track 8 "Everybody Out There." This CD is loaded with gems.
