BD thanks man. She's adjusting well. She's been on two fishin trips and loved it. I think she's around for awhile yet. She does sleep with us every night now, which she hadn't done in the past.

yeh both of mine have been doin' that for a little while now.
one each side of me....
I have to make quite an (unconscious) effort while I'm sleeping not to roll over on one (or the other) now.
Is she getting cataracts (no pun intended), or just losing sight?

D2 tells me your blood pressure's up. Hope you got it covered.
My Mum's got a similar problem, but she's managed to make it to 82, so I guess it's under control.
Do you have to stop working now, or you still good for another 100,000 miles/oil-drums? (whichever comes first)

Check my posts in "What are you doing today" today....

Cataracts, total, can barely tell light from dark.

How do you miss that?:help:

The latest additions to my family.
Cocky-2 and Cocky-1.
There are SIX of 'em altogether, but getting 'em to pose for a group shot is just impossible.
…. and yes, they are 'wild', but still very friendly, and one even says "hello shit head" and "wot are you looking at?" (I taught him that.) They are soooooo smart.

Those are some cool birds - I just read they can get up to 55cm in length. That's one big ass bird. If you haven't seen this video here is Snowball the dancing Sulphur-crested Cockatoo:

Maybe you should play some music for these guys and see what they can do.

tried it….. they just can't sing.
…. but shriek, that they can do, very well, and at 7.30 in the morning.
BIG mistake.

Ok, there has to be a story of how you wound up with 6 exotic birds, and with 2 cats in the same house. Hows that workin out?

that is so f'n funny. mine bob up and down, but no fancy feet.
they are huge. when they arc up, with their crests up, wings out, they are as scary as hell.
but one (Cocky-2) likes a scratch tho', and that's the talker.very domestic that one, so they're no strangers from begging door to door.
…. and when they 'yell' at you, it almost breaks your eardrums, let alone all SIX waking you up in the morning, just after you've gone to bed.
but i grab their seeds and chuck it at 'em, and go back to bed.
still funny as all hell tho'.

I'll say one thing there Nav, your avvie sure has a fuck me smile...
