Hi Joe,
Yes, that is the issue. I have a non-latching version of the switch, it is ON-Mom.
It was frustrating me trying to figure out why I had no continuity unless I held the switch in.
Correct switch on it's way.

Does the "push to listen" version come with a telescoping broom handle so I can sit in the sweet spot and listen? :D
I don't think that version will be a hot seller.
I did get the rest of the wiring done today, heat sinks chamfered, and checked the amplifier very thoroughly from one end to the other.
Getting close to initial bring up and adding transistors.

A cotactor for power control is not a crazy idea- latch it and if the power drops out for any reason, the switch (contactor) remains open to avoid sudden in-rush and short on/off cycles as the power company gets stuff back on line again...

Costs money to have cool features, so production usually didn't bother.
