BIG problems

Yeah, a White Oak Rev "D" board, a White Oak LED light board,. .......ETC.....Seriously, Mike, what else do you need?? I can throw some 5088's in the cool FaboNav bracket in with the board. How is the 410 driver situation??

Hold off on that Lee, I`m working on something. Let me get back to you.
I already have an LED board, looks great. The 410s have been loaded for a while now.

If I receive my Q6s and Q10s early enough, and they do in fact remedy the bias issues, would it be time to install a vertical bank of outputs? What would the test procedure(s) look like??
I ask because I need to return the Variac and I would prefer to have it in this next round of testing.

Hold onto that variac long as you can. It's saved my ass a few times even when thinking I had the amp all together...

Crap, I was afraid of that. The unit I borrowed is from a place I work at and I`ve already had it too long.
I just might buy one for this project and sell it afterwards.

You can survive testing with Joes resistor and a DBT. A HORIZONTAL row, going vertical one at a time.....

Michael, that was a joke. Yes it doesn't take long to check bias, cheap insurance. It will also keep the bulb bright if it's too high, neccesitating CPR, which is generally a drag.

I'll try to remain serious , BUT, the odds are NOT good.

This thing refuses to bias. 2N5088s shifted voltages up another 150-200mv in the wrong direction, offsets remain the same :confused2:

there is a way to debug Mike. I can walk you through it later this week when I return from travel

I`m all ears. Just out of curiosity, do the high voltages have anything to do with the fact no output transistors are connected?
