Take a thousand pictures and it's time to start soldering. As was already posted, wick off the old cracked and corroded solder and get new stuff applied. With the thousand pictures, you'll be able to ALMOST get it back together correctly. :)

I don't think the Crown is an ugly amp. If they are taken care of and maintained, they look better than the first gen 700 or the OVERATED Mac amps. Plus, they were tools and not really a pretty home amp.

Yeah, I wouldn't trade off my WOPL's for one. I rebuilt that Crown and it sounded pretty good. I got it for free, spent a couple hundred rebuilding it and got $2500 for it. You can flip the switch and turn off the display so the lights don't split your wig..... SAE?? Wow, I haven't thought...
