I just saw the ingredients on the Gas Station Sushi and it said that it was made with Pee-Free fins from Mako's, maybe their soup is similar.

We better choose correctly.................. All sharks excrete urine through the skin and ammoniate the flesh with the exception of mako, thresher and great white sharks. These three species actually have a urinary tracks and do not urinate through the skin.
