Sorry to disappoint, but I used what I had on hand, a more modern version of rabbit ears, but they work well.

I mean, it's either the machine or the tape. Try another tape or traipse on down to your local thrift store and buy another machine. Easy peasy.

Mine is the S7000, and as good as I thought the Pioneer unit was, and it was good, the Sony left it face-down in a muddy ditch. I believed for too long that the Denon was the best I had.
