A better option would be to have one of the guys here rebuild your amp by woplng it. Not only will you get a brand new amp that will compete with the best amps out there, it'll carry a lifetime warranty to boot. And yes, you need the speaker protection.

Worked for me. That's crazy the waste involved. I'm thinking that's why they cost what they do. I worked in an aluminum extruding plant way back in another time. We did extruding, fabricating , and anodizing. That was before cnc machines. I guess it would have been interesting to an outsider...

The last two? No, I don't think so! The last two on hand maybe, but you enjoy doing this too much. You have it in your blood that these amps need rescued before they end up being put in a landfill.

Very impressive. Anyone getting a new build without these should definately rethink their decision. If they had been available when you built mine I would have had them. Not that I need them, but...... Good job on these Joe!

Thanks, that's what I wondered. If I ever have any trouble with my amp, I'll have Perry install them. But to just change them out would be cost prohibitive. Shipping's expensive on these beasts, and as good as they look, they're still just eye candy. Really nice eye candy!

Do Joe's meters work like the original PL meters or are they like tape deck meters?
