There's some really nice gear in this thread. And Nando, I'm going to say the "H" word so I'll apoplogize in advance, if I had the gear I've seen in your pictures and in this thread, I'd have to hoard it also. There's no way I could let these beauties go if i had them.

Years ago I had a 700 series II that had Walnut sides that attched with the top and bottom plate screws. A metal top attched to the sides with a magnet. They looked nice but were somewhat of a pain. They came as an option from Phase Linear and I have never seen them offered on ebay or anywhere...

I think he's referring to his Azur 651P. It has two phono in's, one out. Plugs into any line level input. The only thing is one input is for moving coil and the other is MM. I'm not sure if you can plug a MM into a MC input. It's selectable on the back as to which input you want. Has a little...

Back about 30 years ago I used to go metal detecting. Had a White's Coinmaster. Lost it to a thief and never replaced it.

I don't know what yer smokin' there, but save some for me.

I had a set of RSIIIb's that were hard on the 700 series II I had at the time. I'm thinking they were 4 ohm speakers. The only speaker protection I had was inline fuses that the instructions said would be wise to install. Thank God they worked!
