what are you listening to?

When we saw Godsmack in Casper as a headline for Metallica, we got the dual drummer show for about 30 minutes, simply incredible...

What is that behind the slots you display the LPs on, Laz? Some kind of antenna or a dart target?

That, my friend, is an LP Wall-It, which holds the LP album cover. It is mounted on a box made of 3/4 inch plywood, of which I picked up three at a sale, cheap. I found my wife at a sale too, but only the one. ;)

I like that! Going to google it now.

BTW: Isn't your stripper pole dangerously close to your equipment?

I'm not a 'Deadhead' but, there is just something about having 2 drummers, I mean can you imagine what Zeppelin would have been like if John Bonham hadn't died and his son Jason joined?? OMFG!! The way they were going towards the end with 'In Through the Out Door'

Getting into some really funky beats for a mega rock band!! Not to mention some really dark blues action, Sheezus!!

Another vid of Johnette Live playing bass like she should :love7:, notice the guitar change from Fender to uber cool vintage Gibson from the Letterman show vid :thumbleft: Pretty amazing sound on this! Very atmospheric or maybe it's just some ML magic??

My wife bought me a real nice box set of David Gilmour's 'Rattle that Lock' Blu Ray/CD . He's my hero. I just need to decide which disc to try first.:love4:

I saw Pink Floyd in 1973 at Detroit & have been hooked ever since. There sure was some great music around the Motor City back then!!

I used to see Bob Seger , Nugent, MC5 etc when they were bar bands. Kicck out the Jams Mother..................! Heh..Heh That John Sinclair was a real character!

Anybody remember the 'White Panthers' ??

Just listened to a cut off Roger Waters new album, whch by the way, is his first album in 25 years. It's safe to say the 25 year wait was not worth it. (It sucked), i also saw the Dan Rather interview of Roger. The dude is a twat.

I too like David Gilmour.

" saw the Dan Rather interview of Roger. The dude is a twat." They BOTH are!! Disgraced losers!!! Both hoping for a 'comeback'..

Lots of fans are divided in their opinion over Roger Waters' newest release. I picked it up the other day, intro'd each of the tracks, and as with any of these progressive rock albums it is meant to be played in its entirety. I like it and I will most likely enjoy it more as I listen to it over a few times. Just like a new pair of headphones - it might take awhile to break in before you can appreciate it more.

Yah, it has the vein of the "world is a shi*hole" lyrics. For some, this might be growing weary. Better a sprig of truth than a gloss-over of trivial daily life.

I, also, got the Deluxe Box Set of Deep Purple's "InFinite." I bet this will be a good one.
