Nice work.
Don't forget you need to lace in two 22AWG wires to fused B- (plus a ground) to feed the Cylon meters.
See below for recently completed 400 SII with two Blue and one Black 22AWG to the left of the control board.
It's easier to add them now rather than waiting until after placing the bulk caps and tie wrapping all the wire bundles.

That sure is Purdy. Beautiful job Brother, you just keep making them look slicker with each build. If I can get mine to look half as neat as yours, I'll be tickled.
Made a little more progress this week. Watts DCP in and wired up, Backplane B- B+ wired in, IEC wired in, Cylon meter wires in. I believe it's ready for Caps, Buss Bar and ground wires. Let me know if I've overlooked anything. Should get the Meter sensitivity switch today. Eric was kind enough to point me in the right direction.(Thank You Sir) Thanks for looking.......

Regarding the Capacitor hold down plate. I recommend you flip it over so the notch is closer to the top of the amplifier. I had to do this on mine in order for the Meter stud to clear the hold down plate. Depending on your Meter manufacturer, it may clear regardless, but that is what the notch is for. Your build quality is excellent, you may find yourself doing these upgrades for others very soon!
Mark, I do appreciate the compliment on my build quality. It's been weighing kind of heavy on me, For not mentioning the credit, where the credit is do. All I've done is follow some great craftsmanship of the members of this site. Tried to do the best I could to match the quality of the previous builds. I Thank everyone for the help and guidance along the way. I'll probably need a lot more during this next phase.

The Base and Emitter pins are offset from the centerline. You can observe that when you pick one up and look at the bottomside. The backplane boards likewise have offset sockets to properly mate with this offset in the transistors. The offset is enough to be obvious. You need to be observant of this when you install them. If you put them in the wrong way, the screw holes will not line up.

The base and emitter pins are off center to the profile. For it to even fit in the sockets , it has to be lined up right.......although i have seen them forced into the wrong orientation....I'm sure he had to work pretty hard to get it in wrong....
If you'll notice on the backwall the bottom row is reversed to the ones above it. You have to deliberatly look for the offset, but it gets easier to see....

Nice work. Yer gonna love the 400 II WOPL. I listen to mine daily and I have my 700 II WOPL sitting in the rack since I finished it about Jan, I put an hour on it and I haven't fired it up since.
I am going to wire up the 700 II WOPL and use it for the bottom end and use the 400 II WOPL for the high end. Been to busy to get that done but it's going to be miserable hot and humid today (heat index of 100) so maybe I'll get motivated and do it when I finish testing this Carver C-4000 this morning. No yard work till tomorrow (a high of 72, go figure). I think I may build another 400 II WOPL IF...... I can find another 400 II Faceplate like the one I got from Glen with holes in it for a power switch and display switch. Or, I can cheat and just slap a 700 II faceplate from Joe and say to hell with it. Get your's going, yer almost there.
