I have a few pairs of Tara Lab ICs from Larry, too. I posted a feedback article on these some time ago. I use a pair between my preamplifier to amplifier, Sony CDP to dbx 400X route program selector and MiniDisc Deck to dbx router. I want to eventually replace all my ICs, for components I regularly use, with Tara Lab cables if I can find more.

I've only used these audioquest. I've been told kimber, soundstring and I've heard of Tara but never priced them or anything. I've been told all those will blow away the audioquest stuff. But if ya get to crazy you will have more in IC'S then in all your components lol

It takes a good system to reveal that, but there's no denying the difference..
This is the key and why I think so many don't hear the difference. I never cared either but then my system to a few steps up and I gave it a shot. I could tell right away.

I don't argue with folks though. What ever works for you is best for you.

I have Soundstring in my tube rig with a Soundstring a/c chord going to the pre. I have Kimber in my solid state rig. I like them both. The pc rig is a combo of Audio Magic from ore to amp and Kimber to the sources.

Fondler errrr... fan of all Nav's avatars
I'd love to get some of these fancy IC's but the costs are keeping me from really even thinking about any. I do use very heavy Monster IC's between the preamp and amp and from my CD player. Elsewhere, just plain old cheapies. My system kicks serious ass as it is but I would like to wire in a set of some really killer ones into my PL-550 TT someday

I'm planning on building an rcm with a motor from an ice cream maker, an old TT platter and a nice new, smallest model available shop vac. Seen some very nice ones and the cost is fractions of a VPI16 (which is what I was after and still would not mind having)
