Here's another one. ;-)

FOUNTAIN COBALT SUPER 60 open reel cassette. High (chrome) bias.

EDIT: The reels are not thought to improve sound quality. :)

The ''Kruidvat'' must be a nice typeII Daren, the hubs and leader looks similar to what Fuji used for their later typeII's, even the SKC shell design is also in common with Fuji's. I think they are chromes and not just dopped ferrics like TDK's and might sound very nice :)

Here are some HEMA ones: (HEMA is the same kind of thing like Woolworths)

Early Sound & Vision Type II (rebranded BASF):

And the last real HEMA branded ferric tape:

Hi Sep,

Yes; I seem to remember this being quite a nice tape to use. I guess I should have saved this one for myself rather than using it for a mix tape!

Were the hell did you get this one from?
It's the same typical Dutch rebranded stuff like HEMA tapes....
A really nice guy called darkstar078 from you know where...

Thanks for posting Miles.

I think that SF would be great to use for a Matrix themed mix tape.

I know Kung Fu :-D

Wow Daren, the Mrx1 looks great, how did it perform? Too many pros and cons discussions about them and contradictory most the time, some loves and some hates them. I tried just the yellow hubs DBS and they were not that bad at all and quite decent, some hates them too.

Daren: Your past few submissions of cassettes are ones I haven't seen much of, if at all. Good to see them posted. I bought a couple of sealed Memorex cassettes on my last trip into Innovative Audio to perhaps prove the quality or lack of quality in this brand of tapes. They might have been DBS.

Memorex divide people like no other brand. To be honest Sep, I can't remember too much about this one!

To be fair, their tapes always looked the part and I have achieved reasonable results with those that I have tried.

Here is another from the vault for you Sep....

Ooook, this is infact no Memorex and AGFA made them for Memorex and they were totally assembled with AGFA materials according to what i found on internet, i bet this model was simply great! :p

Her bigger sister:

And this one is the one i used and liked(pic not mine), i think it has Korean origin coming from well known manufacturers, the shell is so similar with what SKC and Goldstar used at that time :)

+6

Not used too many Agfa tapes but I loved the old-skool looks.

And the +6 was always helpful...
