Yup, it looks a bit "El Cheapo".... (not to mention "plastic phantastic"...)
 
Yeah, that Maxell looks just regular but not bad. Too bad the tape isn't good otherwise looks decent for a latest product,,, you should see some other stuff from other brands and i do have some KII's from Fuji which i can open their welded(glued?) shells with my little finger, maybe they used wood glue to put them together... :laughing9:

yes, that one was subjected to a restyling and now it does contain 50 minutes of Sony HF-S tape fron mid 80's (i used c90 thickness).;)
