Well, according to my Aussie (friggin') Post tracking page, it looks like Lee has a new brown box....
(unless he's returned it to have it's colour changed)

So D2, you're that much closer to having your brains blown out of your rectum......

Once I get the speakers maybe, on the other hand I have learnt how changing the amp can make the speakers sound so much different. I was really happy with the low range coming out of the 12 inch audiotones when using that NAD 3150 amp, even though its not as powerful as my 9500s amps. As for the WOPL its going to sound incredible, just gotta watch the volume dial, then when the new speakers come along its just going to get even better. I'm on the edge of my seat :toothy10:

Thanks Nando

Guys I need your help here. The owner of that Nad 3150 amp has been wanting to run two 6 ohm speakers and two 8 ohm speakers using A + B, according to nando's statement there, this is possible?

a 6 ohm in parallel with a 8 ohm should be fine if the amp is stable to 2.

It's not always about power, Grasshopper....
.... but how the power is delivered.

More information needed. If you are running the two 6 ohms on the A channel and the two 8 ohms on the B channel and use the A + B switch, is this considered parallel?

Pictured is a switch on the back of the amp, in the case of running the two 6 ohms and two 8 ohms A + B should it be set to the "Normal" setting?

What will happen if the amp cant handle it, excessive heat? Will the "protection" module kick in if there is a problem? Need to get this right as its not my amp and I would like to see him have both pairs running.

it'll never happen.
nothin' will kick in, unless you decide to run it flat out, and that ain't gonna happen, coz it'll be pretty distorted by then, and it'll be pretty obvious that it's time to turn it down.

Going by my calculations running two 8 ohms and two 6 ohms in parallel would give 3.42 ohms....correct? Amp is stable down to 2 ohms so this should be OK?
