I am not sure and not concerned, I want my WOPL. I estimate it could be between $200-$400. Then again I think Lee has some ideas to help reduce this cost.

Darn I have all these lovely near mint vinyls to go through and am just too tired to do it. Must sleep soon and get into it in the morning. Will post some images up in "what are you listening to" as I play them.

Those speakers would be more suited as surround speakers in my 'normal' type set-ups.
.... but would make ideal beginner's speakers.

you could cut your listening time in half if you got a second t/t and listened to two records at once...

The time consuming part is: Clean vinyl, Find decent cassette to record on, clean heads on cassette deck, Calibrate cassette at halfway mark, Play sections off vinyl to get recording level correct on Cassette and BetaHifi, test betahifi to make sure its recording the hifi track correctly and that the heads are not gummed up from previous tape, cue up betahifi tape to desired position - hit record-pause, set up pc@24/96 for recording, press record on cassette/betahifi, lower stylus onto record, then hope for the best. If there is a stuff up start all over again!

Getting that all correct going to 3 different recording devices can be a pain, if one of them stuffs up then you have to restart all 3. Betahifi records better than any analog device I have owned, even pushing +8db, I generally settle for +3 to +6db and it does not distort, ever. Bulky format but fantastic for letting 4 or 5 albums play continuously. The tapes are handy for the car and home. The transfer to PC @ 24/96 is great for archival purposes and when I feel too lazy to get up and put a tape in, it also offers click and crackle removal with near no loss in fidelity.

I can't have any music on when i'm driving.
i'm in 'motor-mode' then and get off on all the mechanical sounds like the sound of a supercharged 4 cyl '67 Cooper S redlining at 8000 RPM or a 327 V8 flat to the floor. and especially when you run over slow pedestrians and the "Arrrggghhh...." in the background.
Ahhhhh..... music to my ears.
