Jer's 400, number TWO thread...

lil bit of breadboard.. some LED's resistors cap n a bridge... oh yeah and some heat glue.. Serves the purpose but yeah if Joe could see how the PCB's would be mounted, that would be something! Either that or (I haven't tried em yet, but... ) I thought I saw some guy offering fuse lamps that have been converted with LED's? How he can squeeze the led (or maybe two?), the current resistor and a diode or two.. hmmm...

SMD's...

Would you like your car to have LED speedometers or the ones that tell you how fast you are going. The old Phase Linears with the UV meters are a real indication of how fast you are going. LED"s are a cheap and more accurate way of indicating power BUT they are not even COOL!!!!!

I've tried many times to call him and I get a " The customer you are calling has not got his voicemail setup" garbage......

So, still letting it burn in a bit as the daily driver. Hmmm... you know, upping the bias a little has made a nice difference in sound quality (if'n that was possible.. wow). Lee I'm not at 510, but at around 430mV. Definitely hear a difference from the standard 375.

Still thinking on how to make it look like a wopl (gotta figure out what a wopl may really look like, eh?)...

OH.. and I found out I'm not really going DEEF in my right ear.. A little more toe in on the right speaker did the trick. Aaahh.. nice...
