No, he's looking for a speaker grille to scratch to shreds.... :laughing9:
LoL, that's what my two kitties did before I lost them to the ex-girlfriend. I do have my monnie with me still, she passed in 2007, had her cremated. I shall get another kitty soon, to hell with the landlord.

I did the same thing with my Freddy, some time back. He sits close by still.
I'll have quite a collection of little boxes to add to my own casket when the time comes.
I just need to outlive these two (Bob-E, and Pe-Knee), and I'll be happy.....

Halfbiass...Electron Herder and Backass Woof
Jazz was diagnosed with cataracts the other day. She can tell dark from light but that's it. She's not bumping into stuff as much this week. She seems to be adapting well.

Split a 7B in 'arf today.
It was so easy.
Just disconnect the rear Mono module, and wire some RCA plugs up to the two power amp modules signal input leads.
All done.
Works good.

Now I have it running my JBL 4313B's very nicely, and the other 7B still in mono powering my JBL B380.

All in all, a most delightful result.
Maybe 'delightful' is too subtle a word.
It's just FREAKIN' AWESOME !!!!!!!! :bounce:

Some pics from the family album....

(funny.... didn't notice the dirty front panel before I took the pic. It actually looks quite clean, normally!)

Broken beyond repair but highly affable
It just clamps it all down for late night TV listening....
You know how ads are always so much louder than the programme you're watching or if the police sirens get too loud or the bombs start going off and all the shooting, at 3am. That sort of stuff. Just auto rides the volume.
The CALM Act, I believe it was named put an end to the screaming meemies here.

The IMAX hardware has never been in my radar but I've been to quite a few IMAX venues and all had awesome sound and of course the video was fantastic. It seems your latest acquisition is working out now that you have the down converter - cool. I still have more test equipment than audio stuff but I'm slowly catching up. I noticed you have an arse tonne of audio - some way cool speaks along with the hardware to drive 'em. All of this in an apartment - wow.

I hope you haven't tried to jump out of the window recently - even tho you're on the ground floor! That cracks me up everytime I think about it!:toothy10::laughing9::confused2:

The IMAX stuff opened my eyes to a lot of new discoveries.
I got to find out what they comprised of, and more importantly who made the bits that went into them.
The list of high quality manufacturers involved with these things is most impressive.
You have JBL, TAD, AB, Eminence, Bryston, Oxmoor.... and who knows what now.
To have found that the EIGHT power amps (sourced to date - my mate Ged picked up another pair last night) have all turned out to be Bryston 7B's is a windfall beyond my wildest dreams.
.... and to find TAD TD2001 high frequency drivers in the IMAX boxes, is just un-freakin'-believable, considering how cheaply the boxes were bought for.
Anyway, as long as I have a pair of these at home, adding to the clutter, I'm happy. Ya just can't have enough clutter I say, and if it has to be audio gear, then so be it.

I still can't get over that Sonics 800x (Bryston) selling for only $135......

.... and yes, with my short memory span D, i still keep jumping out the window regularly, when I see bargains slip thru the 'Bay like that, only to then remember, oh yeah, i live on the ground floor still!
One day, i'll get caught out tho'.
.... but i always have my Swish Army knife in my pocket. That'll save me! :laughing9:
