well, got the recap kit for the new to me 8 fin...got it installed...was a bit difficult...however, i got er done!!!
the kit had caps for c12 and c13....but this 14a board did not have a c12 and c13....was on the diagram...but, not the board...
strange...however, it plays perfectly....waiting on the led kit...and the power supply cap kit....
both are near....should be here this week....along with the rest of the wopl 400 parts that joe sent...
a good day....all in all....

spent a bit of time scraping off the old resin....i think it turned out pretty nice....i think i am making progress....

it seems very stable after it warms up....
performing well....

a lawnmower deck to rebuild...
truck parts coming...

Naa...adds too much weight, although I had a Hafler car stereo amp in another car until it died.

Ditto on a 400 Chev small block. Works pretty nice in a Porsche 928 though.

If you want heavy, go V12 bi-turbo in the bimmer....

Should do 800+HP on pump gas easily.

i got some used parts in today....that i bought on ebay....

one is a light board for a pl400....
it is marked pl 4m....
those sure do resemble leds and not neon or halogen....
can anyone id them??

got in the other dcprotect board for the wopl 400....
also got a set of those special input jacks from watts...
i have no chassis to start installing.... joes parts are still in customs....
i hope this week...

got my new truck headlights in....have to take to the body shop tomorrow...
waiting on a driver power mirror and a driver window glass....

i ordered some dodge parts for a good buddy....his fan clutch came apart....taking out his radiator , cooler, and fan blades....
there are not available here....
i do keep minor parts in stock in my bodega....brake pads, fan belts, lights, etc

also got the lawnmower deck rebuild kit....
my work is cut out for me tomorrow....
and will cut grass this weekend....

rob....the 8 fin is plugging along just perfectly....i got the cap kit installed yesterday....without a hitch....
waiting on parts from joe....to upgrade the power supply caps and the led lights for the meters....

went to the machine shop today....and he is making 4 extra fins for 2 pl 400 4 fins....
with all of the other upgrades....i should be in high cotton....and i do have a couple of spare boards and output transistors...

cant wait to test out the new wopl 400....cant wait to see that new chassis!!!!
