Yeah, I'm amazed the small drill bits are still in it. In the handle storage is the key..

The original inputs are self shorting so when not in use they are shorted for less hum. the outputs are not shorted

Lee, that is a sizable project replacing all of those RCA jacks with 3501's, but probably worth it. Obviosly you've done a lot of work on the board too. I was at a surplus shop in San Jose in the late 90's and found a stash of the original RCA jacks. I bought a pile of them and only have a few left. It looks like you used the fiber shoulder washers on the 3501's which is the right thing to do. Is there not a better solution to the 4739?

Don, Joe has said any replacement would require a rework of the circuitry. One of these days I'll do it. I do have some Brown Dog adapters with some 2134's mounted just in case...
I have some new TI 4136's and the Brown Dog 2134's for the 4136 also...time to experiment..

getting 22.5 volts on the plus side of the power supply and 18.67 on the minus side. At the V+,- at each opamp and at the +,- sides of the rectifier. 1N4004's in the power supply....
