Time for some Sabbath right after this Judas Priest - Demolition finishes :headbang:

I am getting these evil thoughts of running the M-504 off the same preamp w/ the E-712's and see how good this new sheetrock and plaster is coupled with Sabbitha driving the D9s. Just have to explain to the wife it's in the name of Science

Sorry Perry, just had to. You will notice the meter switch is set to normal :toothy5:

Peaks to max power (0dBs) in this vid, right now I just had her up even higher. The D9's are taking all she can feed them but I will wait a few days to see if I can pin the meters without blowing up something in the speakers LMAO! I have 8A fuses in the D9s now hehehe

She sounds awesome!!!! In a few days when she is warmed up good I can only expect better

Thanks Perry and Navo, you guys are AWESOME!! My first WOPL1000 and it's a Clair!!!! I am so freaking happy right now. Even Deb approved of Sabbitha (then I turned her up and she flew into the bedroom LMAO!!!!!)

I want to do something for the board so I have to do some thinking while I am cranking

Thanks for posting the video clip, Ron. The song you chose is about as melancholy as napalm. Great work by the fellows, who took on this joint project, to give back Ron his youth... at the cost of a rolled-off top end of his hearing spectrum.

It's good to hear that Ron is enjoying his new amp - kudos to Perry for building this!

I'm wondering how it's affecting his bottom end. :shaking:

Dennis: Do you mean "did Ron let loose in his drawers after Judas Priest gave him a near-death experience?"

LMAO

The song in the vid is by a band called Airbourne. They are very similar to AC/DC

Sabbitha has been on since I hooked her up, she is really coming into her sound. Tomorrow will be firewall day :toothy5:

Man I love this amp!!!! She is coming into her sound after being on continuously since I hooked her up. She does not even get really warm when I firewall it

WTF, y'all
Mine is the same way. She barely breaks a sweat. I was thinking I'd have to add some cooling based on my 700 I had in the 80's and early 90's. That one got somewhat warm and had an original P/L fan and shroud. Doesn't seem like cooling is necessary now. I doubt if I drive her as hard as you, but she still gets a good spanking now and then and remains cool about it. Having Perry build her was one of the best things I've done for this year. If I had the funds I would definately buy her a twin sister.

My barn still needs fixed so whatever cash I have or can lay my hands on is already spoken for. It's getting done next month. They're lifting the barn and rebuilding approx. 50 feet of block wall, putting a footer drain in, and backfilling with gravel. The slate roof was repaired with new gutters last week. I don't think I'll be buying any toys for a while.
