I caught it as a repeat late last nite Craig, you must have missed it.

She may have done some serious damage Lee. I took the same hit while trimming meat a few years back, severed tendons in the exact same place but got lucky. That was an axe hit, probably deeper and more damaging.

Yep, on the show leading up to episode one they showed they have a rather extensive first aid kit and were well schooled in using it. From her reaction I think she was headed to the sat phone for a medi-vac....
