New season of "Alone" starts next Thursday....
 
I really got a kick out of the mental part of it. I've never been alone for more than 14 days....56 in a miserable environment like that, eating what ever you could find.....and the bears......that would be nerve wracking....

Yeah, at least narrow their choice of gear to that environment. Ya know a guy can take being cold, OR wet, but cold and wet will ruin your attitude in a big hurry. And it just never seems to dry out there. Your basic temperate rainforest....

Yeah we call that New England cold Lee, when it is 31 degrees out and yet raining. Pulls all the heat out of your body.
 
We have cold and wind, or wet and wind....that just plain sucks...
 
My desert rat ass wouldn't last more than a day, maybe two before I called Med-Vac chopper evacuation Pronto!! ;-), then had some gorgeous under aged youths rub some warmth back into my body and hand feed me pizza :happy2:

I love the mind fuck of this show!!
 
4" of snow and 50mph winds, more snow tomorrow. At least the sun is out even though I can't feel it w/ the wind brrrrrr....

Still, how alone can you be when you have cameras? It implies that somebody is monitoring you or actually there.
