So I just watched my first episode of Alone. Very addictive I must say. It looks like this is filmed Quatsino Sound.

if it is then I have been there many times. It is the home of giant Cedars and Spruce mixed in the Douglas Fir and Hemlock trees. This is a true rain forest. On the open ocean the trees are short and bent at 45*. The wind can blow over 100 MPH during the winter months. It is a most beautiful place and yet I can see how these people are truly up against it. I need to go back and see SanJoe bay again.

Quite a crowd. Some very talented people, smart, in tune with surroundings. And then there 's the doofus that looses his fire stick, he'll never keep the fire going in that Forrest.....say bye-bye.

Rest of the show was kind of boring....no insight on the rest of the bunch gathered tonite. Time will tel....

Nicole is a smart cookie. Understands her surroundings, doesn't seem to take any stupid chances.

The rest of the program was pretty boring. Got a feeling David is the next one out....

Yeah the mindfuck is working on him. I had Randy pegged for a dumbass when he klost his ferrostyick, but h built a nice shelter...so did Nicole....

Wish we saw more of the Spanish guy. He seems to have beachcomber survival, not sure he can take the 30 degree damp windy weather coming soon. Need to know a bit more about him.
