Halfbiass...Electron Herder and Backass Woof
We have run into a snag on the backplane installation. The chassis appears to bo not as tall as the "B"s"......Whether it was bent in the wrong place , I dont know. The platic bushings are tight up against the lip , but they did go. The holes must have been slightly undersize also as the bushings had to be exactly straight to go. A couple took some rotary motion to go, hence the seal pic.. It looks like a trip to the shop belt sander is in order.......

Question Sir Joe.....how much material can i take off the top or bottom of the backplanes?? I only need .010-.015 total....1/2 off the top and half off the bottom...

That worked. Didn't take much. Couldn't take much off as the bottom hold down pads are awfully close to the edge of the boards...

Those who enter the man cave will get WOPLed
Had to Fan cool the Bang and Olufsen Beocenter 7700 during times of hard driving, damn just noticed how much dust is behind there, better give her a clean sometime soon. That amp holds up so well, can't get enough of its sound.

The backass woof is in reference to having one woofer reverse polarity with the other , in effect cancelling a lot of the bass energy put out by the Super K's. When hooked up right , SIMPLY AMAZING....

We are hoping to make that more than redundant...

When I hook up my other speakers with correct polarity using the pioneer amp, it cancels out so much bass coming out of the JBL Control Monitors (Which run off the B&O), its terrible. Should I reverse the polarity of the speakers running on the pioneer amp to fix this? I'd rather listen to the JBLs on their own but just out of curiosity.

The B&O will always have a special place in this house for the rest of my life. It will be moved to the upstairs bedroom when the wopl arrives, I think I will use it to drive my old technics or auditone speakers.

You could have a phase reversal in the crossovers, it's pretty common...try it...nothing to lose..
