Not from record store, but picked up a nice stash of records at a thrift store yesterday:

Blue Genes: The Three Sounds
Horace Silver Quintet - Horace Scope
Perez Prado - Mambo Mania
Ray Charles - Crying Time
Roy Eldridge - S/T
Gerry Mulligan and Shorty Rodgers - Modern Sounds
The Righteous Brothers - Right Now
The Ramsey Lewis Trio - In Chicago
Elvis Presley - Loving You
Arthur Lyman - Taboo

A couple of the covers are rough, but the vinyl inside is all very nice. A couple were dirty, but no scratches or nicks and played quiet once cleaned up.
Wicked- killa score, Dave!

Broken beyond repair but highly affable
I'm waiting on Ron's Ozzy and Priest and I have two coming from TH's dogface1956 (Jeff) via eBay:

XTC-English Settlement (had this taped from my city library's records once-it was a wicked cool wax shop) and

Al Stewart-Time Passages :blob5::iconbiggrin:

I got to do that myself this time, so lookout, new feedback!

PS $13 with shipping.

Finally took images of them, I thought there was 9 but there is 10. Got them in trade, all Japanese Apple pressings complete w/ all inserts. Only thing I don't have is the obi's. They are in beautiful condition, the records are stored in separate mofi sleeves

EDIT the EAS catalog numbers on the spines and the separate boxed numbers got me to thinking these are more then they seem. Apparently these copies came out of the Toshiba/EMI Complete Beatles Works set which comprised 80 lps including all the solo lps only released in Japan in 1981. These copies are worth a small fortune to someone looking to complete a whole set. The Beatles lps are the most valuable of the set. What's cool as that the lps in the set did not come with obi's since they were not sold individually. They are complete!!!

THE COMPLETE WORKS OF THE BEATLES (Winter 1981 - Toshiba-EMI VMS 80)
A set of eighty albums (EAS series) by the Beatles, John Lennon, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, the Plastic Ono Band, Paul McCartney, Paul and Linda McCartney, Paul McCartney and Wings, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The eighty records were housed in eight cream-colored slip cases and could be stored on a two-shelf, wooden stand that came as part of the whole package. In the summer of 1982, this collection was updated to include Reel Music and Paul's Tug Of War

Hey Ron, was in the local shop again today. My buddy went down last sunday to see Exodus was still there but it was gone. Apparently Bonded By Blood sold only a couple hours after I had seen it. As well he told my buddy he had just recently taken in 5 Banzai pressings, all of which sold immediately other than Celtic Frosts Morbid Tales, which is still there. I see you have it marked as one you have already though.

Was happy you posted this list as I made sure to check it while down there, to see if Morbid Tales was one you had.

Ben, I actually have an extra of Morbid Tales on Banzai in -NM condition but what are they asking as I am always on the lookout for clean copies. Also what were they asking for the Bonded by Blood?

You should see my Celtic Frost collection, it's ridiculous :laughing5::laughing5::laughing5::laughing5::laughing5:

I think he was asking 20 or 25 for each.

I had seen this album a few times in there. Im listening to it now via Youtube and may pick it up next time im down there.

Also are you interested in any Metal Blade or Megaforce releases? Or any other labels specifically you are looking for things on?

$25 is a steal if clean. It's pretty brutal but quite fascinating at the same time AND listenable LOL. Tom Warrior is a genius with a minimalist approach to delivery, just crushing brutal riffs and cries of anguish. Hellhammer/Celtic Frost are the grandfathers of Norwegian Death Metal. Triptycon is pretty good also. Celtic Frost blew chunks with Cold Lake. Into the Pandemonium was half good half weird. Everything else before is KILLER. Several great eps from the lps are quite collectible also. Tragic Serenades and The Emperor's Return (w/ or w/o boobs on demon bitch), the picture discs, the other stuff. I should post some pics of my collection :laughing5:. I have all the correct posters also, took me YEARS to assemble the collection and I still am missing a few things, mainly the Morbid Tales picture disc, I don't want the reissue Earache version though, just the original. I don't own any of the reissue stuff

Always looking for Metal Blade and Combat stuff. Problem is, I have a lot so you would have to let me know whats there. Always looking for original copies of Witchfinder General, Bathory, Manilla Road, Cirith Ungol, Jag Panzer, Venom, Fates Warning, Omen, Exxplorer (just the HHH press) etc...

LOL, it was caught early but a few copies slipped out in one of the first shipments to dealers. I got this off eBay fairly recently for a SONG and it's MINT. The guy selling was new to it and not many people jumped on his auctions. I actually grabbed a few things and am hopefully getting something else from him that I missed today. It's a buyers market on eBay right now for some reason but I am not complaining

I got these off eBay in the last month or so

sealed copy of Over Kill - Feel the Fire on Megaforce for $40 = $4 shipping BIN

Mastodon - Blood Mountain $8.07 + $4 shipping

The Beatles - Help! Japanese pressing $6.99 + $4 shipping

Guns 'n Roses - Metal Petals 2lp bootleg set mint $.99 + $4 shipping <------ That is correct 99 cents!!!! The set and jacket is MINT!!!

Phantom Lord 1st press on Pentagram Records mint in shrink $30.99 + $3.50 shipping
