I'm trying to remember which one I had and just can't. A CD would be preferable....was just thinking about some music I listened to when Jase mentioned "Victim of Love" and Cafferty came to mind....

Looks like Ben has nailed it for you, Lee. Right now, I am recording two LPs my son bought at the local record store - Graham Nash's first and second releases from 1971 and 1974.

Hit the record shop yesterday and picked up,

Vinnie Vincent Invasion

Lynyrd Skynrd Second Helping back to black 180g

Stopped in at the local HMV today to pick up the new Cherry EP and they had the 20th anniversary Offspring Smash LP.

Yesterday when I arrived home from the record shop I had a package waiting here for me.

Thanks a pile for these Ron. You rip shit!!!!:glasses1:

Nice grabs Ben! Let me know how that Skynyrd sounds compared to a original pressing

See anything up that way I would be interested in? I was going to see if you could check around for Banzai label pressings in your travels

Priorities are Jag Panzer, Slayer, Omen (especially Battle Cry), Venom (Black Metal), Fates Warning, Bathory etc...

The reason I bought the 180g second helping was because after years of looking I have not found an original. Nor have I ever heard one. That being said, these back to black vinyl re releases sound quite good as I have a few of them from other artists.

Funny you mention that Ron. Just yesterday I saw a Bonded By Blood on Banzai records from Exodus down at the shop. A buddy who is a metal head and I have recently turned on to vinyl is big on the Exodus, so I have already turned him on to it. If he doesnt buy it is this something you'd be interested in?

Ill make a list of the ones you mentioned and look for them when I'm down there Ron.

That would be phenomenal. Another method to my madness is after looking so long, I buy the one I dont want. Usually not long after the pressing Im looking for shows up. Much like the ACDC Fly On The Wall I was looking for. Picked up the re press not long ago. Now a buddy found a copy for me not long after. Still need to get it from him though.

Not from record store, but picked up a nice stash of records at a thrift store yesterday:

Blue Genes: The Three Sounds
Horace Silver Quintet - Horace Scope
Perez Prado - Mambo Mania
Ray Charles - Crying Time
Roy Eldridge - S/T
Gerry Mulligan and Shorty Rodgers - Modern Sounds
The Righteous Brothers - Right Now
The Ramsey Lewis Trio - In Chicago
Elvis Presley - Loving You
Arthur Lyman - Taboo

A couple of the covers are rough, but the vinyl inside is all very nice. A couple were dirty, but no scratches or nicks and played quiet once cleaned up.

No pic but I got 9 or 10 Japanese press Beatles records coming tomorrow. I love the Japanese pressings of any release. Probably will keep one or two of them but will be forced to sell the rest
