Damn, I don't know what to say George, its obviously something you want to do, but if your body won't allow it then that's really unfortunate =(. I guess at the end of the day you have to look after yourself and this mission you are on may be too much if you are having issues standing for long periods of time. I'm the opposite, sitting kills me, I was much better off working daily on my feet. If only I could find a damn job. Still trying.
 
Where there's a will, I hope there's still a way D2. I'll find out soon enough.

Here's the Demo room where I got to mess around in for a little while just getting acquainted with their Monitor Systems (tuning and operation etc.)
Did that for about 4 hours.

I was gonna mess around with some multi-tracks in the truck, but I just didn't feel like it.

Anyway, it's all for the grace of this man, Peter Thoms (seen here in the truck - smoking a cigarette - BIG NO NO, but then it's his freakin' truck), that I'm doing wot I'm doing. I owe him for this.....

Looks like high tech stuff, I like how it all lights up. I really hope you can nail this as its obviously something you really want to do. Wheres a picture of you George? =)

Would be cool to see a pic one day, I remember that one you put up with the hot redhead once =).
 
I see them hotties getting around all the time, pity I'm too screwed up and difficult to live with. But then again, I do enjoy my spare time as there is never enough time for the hobby.

there's always room for a g/f. (at arms length).
the company's great, and it doesn't always have to be about sex.
..... but you have to look deep for something you can admire about them, which brings about respect.
otherwise, they'll get bored with you just as quick as you do with them.
get to like someone first, then you're halfway there.
there's always time for the stereo, and wot girl doesn't like music?

(I should practice wot I preach.... heh heh heh....) :happy6:

That's so true of so much in this modern world. Cool cartoon though. I'm glad to see you getting back into your work world and I really hope it works out for you. I know you have a lot going on in your hobby but this seems like something that you can wrap your head around - no Nav comments here - and have some fun doing it.
 
Short story:


I tee'd up a sale of a Perreaux 6200 Power Amp for my mate Barry for $300. (rrp $1500 - $1800, BUT made in1987)
Still a crazy good amp tho' ("some" say even "audiophile quality") which some 'merikans were still paying $900 - $1000 only a couple of years back.

…. but after going to pick it up, I found that the price was revised down to $100 per unit, of which there were two.
At that price I would've grabbed the both of 'em, but circumcises being wot they were, I had to honour the deal, so stoopid Barry walked out with the pair of them with a $100 change.

So we went to the gig to pick up bits and pieces, and to show stoopid Barry wot goes on behind the scenes, and introduce him to wot can be achieved with these new age sound systems.
We were there to hear some of the night but leave early.
Anyway, three songs in, it's hitting around 104dB. Not really loud, but crystal as. So I looked over at Stoopid Barry to see wot he thinks, and the dumb arse c… is playing a Casino Game on his iPhone!

WTF?

All that effort wasted…….

He'll NEVER be one of US.


God must really REALLY hate me…..

Why HIM?

I just don't get it!
