I like pretty much everything except bluegrass and country...I love the Younger Brothers and Shpongle that Lee made for me. I love everything from ochestral to rock and roll. I really love the techno, acid rock, female vocals....anything that is a great recoring. I love Donald Fagen, Diana Krall, Fourplay, Sting, just anything that is well rocorded....

Thank you Llarry. I really appreciate it. I just hope one day to have a really top drawer cassette deck to go along with the White Oaked Phase Linears Lee is recreating for me. I think ultimately I'll have a fantastic stereo system. I certainly have tried over the years to put together the ultimate system, but I usually go off course and chase a certain component for a while...the Altecs sem to be the thing right now. I'm so dumb... Just sniped ANOTHER pair of Altec A-7 VOICE OF THE THEATRE cabinets...for $100.00. I just could not resist....I mean $50.00 per cabinet....I already bought a pair of 416-8? woofers, now I need a pair of horns and a pair of compression drivers, and some crossovers...The guy I bought the cabs from has all these pieces (he sold the woofers to someone else), and I'm trying to get him to price the other pieces, but so far, no answer. He's probably wishing he had set a reserve on the cabs of four or five hundred bucks..

Anyway, I am very anxious to play with thhe Yammie, but it will get done when you get her done.. I'll wait til that time.. I really appreciate you doing it and I know it will be right when it comes back home to daddy....

Yep.....probably...........but, they aren't making them anymore, so I don't know if I could have too many of them.

Maybe what I could do is line the walls of my garage/workshop with A-7 cabinets, and hook up Fisher 400's to them and play the same radio station. That would be really cool !!

It would be a wall of sound with 6 VOTT A-7's blasting..a Fisher would deliver the requisite 30 Watts per channel, I'll bet it would sound soooo cool..............

Any luck with the K-1000 yet? Does she make music?

NO NO NO...

You can't do that.

Just tell me who might be another person who might be able to look at her. I want to get the one I sent to you fixed.

I do not want to take your deck.

NO WAY...

I just wish I could figure stuff like that out, but I just am not mechanical. I hope you did come up with something. I am anxious to start taping every LP I own. My 2004 Chevy Astro has a tape player in it, and I want to make travel tapes. On my long trips to Florida it will be cool to listen to some cassetes. Metal tapes should be here on Monday, and I have never used one before.

You're in for a treat with the metals

Just be careful driving that Astro, didn't fare well in the offset frontal crash test  , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kuSghb7P7U

i HOPE SO. i'M REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO TRYING ANYWAY. And if the Yammie is way better than the old Hitachi, I'll be in for a real treat. I still havent' had an opportunity to compare a great deck with one that might not be so good, so I await the opportunity..

Been in and out all day getting ready for the snow. Want to get the yard ready to seed for the snow to do its job. Just mixed the manure now I have to do top soil. Then all my other things I do. LOL Have maybe been in the garage about 1/2 hour. Plus waiting for propane. Will get there very soon.
