Larry a hour before you going to work on the wood take a benadryl and that will stop any reaction to your skin...probably should go to allergist get that checked...oils and saps from woods have a high severity reactions...like peanuts and shellfish reaction usually have a 80 percent fatal rate...I know this because it happen to me, highly allergic to shellfish and went in for gallbladder surgery and told doctor and they still used iodine on me, when I woke up needless to say I still have my gallbladder!!!
Anyway, what are you spraying the wood with laq. or enamel? If you do polys you want to brush or sponge on the wood, polys hard to shoot from gun unless really thin but then has a higher rate of running or peeling..

Yep, rained for a couple days here. Just what I needed while that oilwell was stomping my shit in the dirt. Pre-amp is still Phono-F&^%$#. Put it aside till I'm in a better mood. Got Larry's Onix on the bench right now, transport problem.

Praying for rain here Lee. Supposed to finally be a soaker in the NE. Lawn really hasn't started to go yet. No mud season this year.

Good news, the black flies are not as bad as in a normal year.

Well I'm about to measure and cut the purple heart to do the Hafler preamp. Going to do only 3 sides. Bought a chinese gun. Small gun. See if I can remember how to spray. LOL I learned the hard way. Never let someone else mix your paint. YOU mix your paint the way you like to shoot it. If you shoot slow then mix it to dry slower. If you can shoot fast then mix it hot. I like it to dry faster. Of course your in the booth practicing. I never saw any old painters though. I tried to do as little as possiable. Send it to the paint shop.

Yes I know.It goes on sale and if it is a good price I buy a couple of sticks. I think it will be very pretty. Gotta get up the nerve to start cutting. LOL
