Larry a hour before you going to work on the wood take a benadryl and that will stop any reaction to your skin...probably should go to allergist get that checked...oils and saps from woods have a high severity reactions...like peanuts and shellfish reaction usually have a 80 percent fatal rate...I know this because it happen to me, highly allergic to shellfish and went in for gallbladder surgery and told doctor and they still used iodine on me, when I woke up needless to say I still have my gallbladder!!!
Anyway, what are you spraying the wood with laq. or enamel? If you do polys you want to brush or sponge on the wood, polys hard to shoot from gun unless really thin but then has a higher rate of running or peeling..
