Let me know if you get it and like it. I use my 8 foot aluminum straight edge to do this kind of stuff. The unit pictured only works well if one edge is still mill finished and straight which usually is not the case on my construction sites.

Biggest questions here are:
Does it really attach to the saw well?
Is it flimsy?

This is my Hafler preamp case. Purple heart wood. One coat of sanding sealer.. It will fill in any voids. Have to buy another blade. Have to saw the side boards yet. I have some spikes but they are metric. Thinking I could do a cherry one for the PL.

Well I have my wood for the plinth. This is one piece of the cherry plywood. Will make 3 plies of it and veneer the MH base with this.

Will band the edge of the plywood. Will see about staining the a Warm cherry. Think it will look good with the purple heart.

Don't tell anyone but here is a secret. I have went over the river and through the forest and saw my Grandmother. LOL What a nice cruise. LOL Has anyone ridden the Appalachia trail on motorcycles. Or the Blue Ridge parkway. Wonder how far I can do it on a scooter without killing myself. LOL If I do this right it will be a pretty nice table for the 1st one. Been a long time since I got an idea and acted on it. LMBO yea right. For me that is an achievement just remembering to go pee is a modern day miracle for me. LOL

A $1000 piece of gorgeous wood on a $500 amp. I like it. Sort of like the $11,000 wheels on a $5000 car. But everyone notices the driver and that's all that counts.

Must be a West Coast thing. We don't do things like that here. LOL
