White Oak- Phase Linear Driver Board Tester

Anything to save time Lee...PITA to put it into a chassis not knowing if it works or not.
 
Yeah, but there hasn't been one I''ve put together since Gibsonian's that hasn't. It's when things go awry that it will earn it's keep. Just knowing whether it's a board problem or chassis problem will cut down a lot of frustration.
 
So your board checker will test WOA and PL boards? How much do you charge for the test? I may have another PL0171 board to send your way... That should be good for about 3 board checks.

It looks like Lee has wisely set up the fixture to take advantage of the uniform spacing offered only on the White Oak Board :-)
 
Wisely is so annotated Joe, should I be noting something else??
 
"It is a feature, not a bug." Joe is wisely implying there is no reason to test the PL boards, just replace them with the White Oak Audio boards...

If I had designed the new boards I would be acting the same way Joe, " Dudes!!! Don't waste your time on that dinasour!"
