BULLSHIT!
Amorica dwarfs it.
Jason, did you ever see the Crowes with Marc Ford. All other versions pale in comparison.
Ever heard Rich Robinson's album "Paper" killer album....

Sorry have to disagree by a long shot lol. Amorica had nothing on southern harmony and yes I seen Marc with them and multiple other ppl also IMO the crowes have never sounded good live until this year. And I've been a fan since day 1. They have always picked good setlists but sucked at playin them.last year they were on fire plain and simple. Jackie has became a amazing player and fits right in.. All this is my opinion lmao so no offense please lol
Yep there's a crazy one lol!!!

Hey, we can agree to disagree...
While I think Southern Harmony is a monster album it will never top Amorica for me. On the other end of the spectrum, for me, Moneymaker is by far their worst album to date.....
I saw them way back when on a Furthur or a Horde festival and they played and sounded excellent.
I'd say my least pleasing show I can think of off the top of my head would be a mid 90's show with Jeff Beck and Santana. Both were awful that evening. A year later Santana came back and blew the doors off the place. It was Miles Davis' Birthday and Carlos was playing all kinds of his tunes. Long Bitches Brew jams........
I had a big time collector guy GIVE me that album as he said he wife told him "it me or the Dwarves album" I think I might have gotten a great collectors piece at least.
My User name comes from one of the bassist for the Dwarves, Rex Everything is the same guy as Pierre Pressure. This is Nick Oliveri from KYUSS, QOTSA, Mondo Generator.........
How's the music on the album?
God you keep pullin stuff I ain't heard in a long time. Bringing back my hair band era lol

That was a lot of catching up Paul. Well played.![]()
It sounds like your hairband era was in the mid 90's, is this so?
Being kinda isolated on the southern coast of Alaska as kids (no raido station, no record stores) my brother and I (and friends) lived and died by Circus magazine as we could get it at the pharmacy. Lot's of hairbands for sure. I remember walking home with anew issue in '83, opening it to the center and seeing a full black center spread with a blacker pentagram on it. Turn the page and it say "Shout At The Devil" the new album by Motley Crue.....I turned right around and went to the hardware store and ordered the cassette.
Yup, we got our music from a small two row case in the hardware store. The would put in orders if you asked. I remember buying my first cassette there, Judas Priest's Screaming For Vengeance. My brother was so pissed as my mom would not let him buy it due to the name but she was not around when I plopped my $10 worth of nickles, dimes and quarters on the counter and walked home......
My bro went onto the '87 class of G.I.T. which is where my time in LA in the mid late 80's came from.
Do you have a physical copy of Paper, Paul? Ive tried to find as I think you've mentioned it to me before. Cant seem to track down one.... even online.
I was born in 77 my first 2lp purchases were diamond rexx- land of the damned and Metallica 5.98 ep. But I was only like 10 lol so I had a lot of stuff I was familiar with but other than nugent live every year from 86 to 90 then I seen Cinderella and white lion that was my first hair show. Lion was on pride and Cinderella on long cold winter I belive
