what are you listening to?

Went back and pulled out Badfinger's third album - Straight Up. Only one of theirs that I have. Not sure what the fuss was about beyond the singles, which were very good.

Also, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals - was hoping for more actual melodies in their stuff after the one concert video I saw, which was pretty good. Of course, with video of her, I can put up with a lot of crappy songs. :evil2:

Really getting into revisiting my Deutshe Gramophon Archive Series Bach lps that I am currently offering on AK. These are some of the best classical recordings ever put on vinyl. They were released in 1952-54. The Fugue's are house shakers, man I love Baroque Organ music

Phutureprimitive---"Luminous" Love it so far!!

Paul-"Rex Everything" sent a CD care package that was VERY generous, thank you Paul. NEW MUSIC!!!!!

I was curious if that had made it yet!

That "Luminous" EP is excellent imo. The new EP that is on their with it is outstanding as well.......

I sure hope you like the stuff sent......I knew I was missing something and it was the Tycho album....have to get ya next time around.

You have a lot of Mach 8+ stuff there, Lee......looking forward to your thoughts and reviews........:-P:-P

Phutureprimitive WAS mach 8 stuff. Loved it. Justr finished Hiromi-trio project. Kinda Jazzy contemporary piano with some accompaniment. I can see that growing on me. What brand of CD's are those?

Did you listen to all three Phutureprimitive discs?

I'm not sure off the top of my head...just some El Cheapo's but I'll let you know ( do they not sound good?).

Yeah, I slipped two Jazz cd's in on ya. The Hiromi Trio, a new favorite of mine. She is an amazing pianist. Saw her play with Stanley Clarke a few years ago. There is also the Portico Quartet. This is some outstanding jazz featuring the Hang (pronounced hung) drum as used by Shpongle. I listen to "Knee-Deep In The North Sea" often and bet you will also.

I was going through the stack as opened. Yep Kneep Dees is growing on me. Thanks again Paul. The

AH....I don't remember exactly in what order I burned them but you should be coming onto a heavy dose of Twisted Records artists soon if I remember correctly.

You are very welcome! I've owed that to you for a while now and prolly owe a bit more.
