Went back and pulled out Badfinger's third album - Straight Up. Only one of theirs that I have. Not sure what the fuss was about beyond the singles, which were very good.

Also, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals - was hoping for more actual melodies in their stuff after the one concert video I saw, which was pretty good. Of course, with video of her, I can put up with a lot of crappy songs. :evil2:

Fondler errrr... fan of all Nav's avatars
Really getting into revisiting my Deutshe Gramophon Archive Series Bach lps that I am currently offering on AK. These are some of the best classical recordings ever put on vinyl. They were released in 1952-54. The Fugue's are house shakers, man I love Baroque Organ music

Phutureprimitive WAS mach 8 stuff. Loved it. Justr finished Hiromi-trio project. Kinda Jazzy contemporary piano with some accompaniment. I can see that growing on me. What brand of CD's are those?

Did you listen to all three Phutureprimitive discs?

I'm not sure off the top of my head...just some El Cheapo's but I'll let you know ( do they not sound good?).

Yeah, I slipped two Jazz cd's in on ya. The Hiromi Trio, a new favorite of mine. She is an amazing pianist. Saw her play with Stanley Clarke a few years ago. There is also the Portico Quartet. This is some outstanding jazz featuring the Hang (pronounced hung) drum as used by Shpongle. I listen to "Knee-Deep In The North Sea" often and bet you will also.

AH....I don't remember exactly in what order I burned them but you should be coming onto a heavy dose of Twisted Records artists soon if I remember correctly.

You are very welcome! I've owed that to you for a while now and prolly owe a bit more.

Oh, it WILL...she's featured TWICE on the Christmas album and she knows her Guaraldi.

I suggest you get on the stream of Radio Boise for Pink Noise...you will enjoy it a lot.

YUMMMM...it just went damned heavy! and back down...

I've backed into my profile three times trying to edit...gotta put some air in the tube.

The reorganisation of my CD collection is almost complete.

Just deciding on those final few albums that will either stay or go...

Currently spinning No Pocky for Kitty by Superchunk.
