what are you listening to?

We have a number of ambient fans here. Shpongle and Younger Brother are just a few bands I and a few others enjoy. Which cassette deck are you running currently?

Nando.

RX-505, recorded it on an RX-202.

I like Shpongle well enough, but haven't checked out Younger Brother, but perhaps I should.

Excellent deck. Some prefer it even over the Dragon. I have been waiting over a year for a back-ordered Dolby IC to arrive. Once it does arrive, I hope to get busy recording with it. While I had it, I loved the playback through it. Younger Brother will be right up your alley.

Ambient eh? I think I only have some Brian Eno that's close to that, great stuff

Anyway, Lonesome Crow is on now, heavy prog/blues w/ a 16 year old Michael Schenker on guitar. It's nice having a choice of different masterings. None of the below is a duplicate either, they are all different releases either colored vinyl or WLP's. Actually, I am one of those crazy dudes that attempts completism. The wife bitches a bit but those bins are what is in regular circulation for the living room system which is about to be WOPL'd courtesy of a hell of a guy you might know as Jer 'round these parts LMAO

Yep, CD's take up less space but lack in the coolness factor (ducks shoe)

Thank you. How enlightening - I'm glad you tipped us off on the Flying Hat Band. I'm listening to a few of the FHB YouTube tracks, now.

Nando.

I listened to them all yesterday. Good stuff. Found them for DL but only in mp3...still searching for FLAC. I did see where All That Is Heavy was selling the LP but alas...they are long out of stock.....

I think my cover of this album is different than these. I'll have to go have a look

One more essential ingredient I forgot to include in my last post :toothy10:

For me its Fatigue and body adjusting to new medication after 20 years. I'm gonna fight this bitch and not sleep excessively at all this week. There is vinyl to be spun, tapes to be laid down and amps to keep warm (determined). Oh yeah and a job to be held down.

High Time We Went-Joe Cocker on one of the TDK Cding 74s I need to transfer content from before recording OXIDY.

Currently-The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down-Joan Baez

Never Ending Love For You-Delaney and Bonnie and Friends (what a damned good tape)!
