what are you listening to?

I have to agree, it has to be a well done copy. I did find NAI Digi Chrome cassettes in Project C-90's web site. There appears to be the taper's autograph on a corner of the J-card. He needs to join here, so we can get this 250 member contest going.

Since internet service in Syria has been cut altogether, it could be a while, if they survive.

Steely Dan ~ Black Cow

I don't care anymore
bout you running around

break away

just when it seems so clear
that it's over now
drink your big black cow
and get outta here.............

(figured I'd spice it up a lil with some added lyrics, eh? Favorite part above, hehe..

Thanks Nando!

It's good to see it has arrived, Nick. I found the sealed Phoenix Blue cassettes downstairs, so I can get two of them in the mail to you, this week.

No need, my friend. You can hold off shipping them until our next trade. I did send you a couple of the NAC tapes the other day- let me know what you think. They are 90 minutes and not a second more. Still gonna have to keep buying and trading for Maxell XL II and XLII- S for those LPs that are juuuust a bit longer than others. Maxell gave us a few extra, precious feet. On my JVC(primary recording deck), this equated to 40 extra counter ticks for the XL II 90 over the NAC.

That sounds fine. I appreciate the NAC tapes. I am curious how they might compare to some of my other cassettes I am accustomed to using. Once I find out whether I am happy with them, it would be foolish not to do a bulk-buy from NAC. I leave a healthy gap at the beginning of each mix tape I record (about 025 on my counter) and more than that at the end, as you may have already found. Some tapes, I can record almost to within the last 10 seconds remaining on each side, but that's a bit on the tight side.
