what are you listening to?

I think I should give Patricia a listen!

Listening to the remastered Van Halen (thanks Blaze for the heads up) - "Pretty Woman". Nobody could sing that song like Roy - but DLR and Van Halen give it a good spin!

Lee turned me onto Patricia Barber. Good jazz, good to design to. Lots of dynamics, very little compression in the recording.

If it's Saturday...

it's a combination of my stuff on Windows Mafia Pauper (four ex Pee), public radio and TNN (so I'm watching what I'm hearing).

Today, I found this cassette for a dime. It sounds great! Anyone else see one of these tapes?

What does the tape itself look like Nando? To me it looks like a hardcore Sansui fan made a dub from a CD... Just what I get from the J-card.

Megadeth - So Far, So Good... So What?

Cassette, 1988 Capitol

Ben: It's an oddity. Who bothers with all the trouble to include coding, cassette stenciling, etc?

Jeff Healey Band - See The Light

Cassette, 1988 Arista

BASF Chrome, EQ 120

I find these to be some of the nicest sounding pre recorded cassettes.

Haha, not sure Nando, us tape lovers are a crazy bunch. :laughing9:
I have to agree, it has to be a well done copy. I did find NAI Digi Chrome cassettes in Project C-90's web site. There appears to be the taper's autograph on a corner of the J-card. He needs to join here, so we can get this 250 member contest going.
