what are you listening to?

Rosanne Cash-"The Essential" 2011 Columbia Records cd (2 disc set)

...I bought this at her concert I attended the other day. Her performance was 1st rate. She looked like she was having a blast. I already had 99 per cent of the songs on this but I wanted to have something for her to sign. Includes 1 song from her debut album which was only released in Germany (which is the only album I need of hers).

Just watched a concert dvd...

The Paladins-"Live In Holland: Powershake" 2004 Rounder Europe dvd

Joe Bonamassa The Ballad of John Henry. Th headphones laying on the table. I am in fine shape. If you get my drift in a one horse open sleigh. Forgot what thread I was one. LOL I'll post it anyway. LOL

The Zoo "Shakin The Cage" Well we shall see. So far this is sort of a strange CD. The 1st 2 songs complete different style. So far I like. Thanks for the tip.

I very seldom look up a singer. This is the lead female vocalist. A very full voice. sort of a blues voice. Lot of energy. I recommend this cd.

Saw them live in Rapid City, she was a Hottie in person too. And she does have an amazing voice. During the show in Rapid they blew a few breakers and during the lull she would sing without a PA system and the volume would be almost the same. One of those very powerful voices, but also very delicate sounding. A very gifted singer. Course her genes has some music running around in there too.

"Shakin the Cage" is a good ol rock tune, "Voodoo" is bluesy and jazzy at the same time.

Should have been a copy of that in that big pile of CD's I burnt for ya last year. I know Nando and Stuwee got one.

Lee was kind enough to make many CD copies of albums, he thought I would like, including Mick Fleetwood's The Zoo "Shakin' The Cage."
