what are you listening to?

Thanks go out to Lee again - years later - for convincing me to jump, head long, into the BluOS ecosystem.

Listening to some Yes on my 2nd BlueOS Node. This one is the Node Icon though. My first Node is still out in the main living area, for more generalized listening.
That one has been dedicated to blue tooth connections in-room but I will doing a Toslink connection to my surround system next.

The Icon is part of my dedicated 2 channel, audio system in my home office and connected via Balanced into the McIntosh.

Huge game changer, now that my digital library resides on a 10Gbe server. I finally opted out of the analog "Tuner" game with this thing. TuneIn radio has all the local Little Rock stations I care to listen to + a world of everything else at my finger tips. I also can now record to tape from the server through this monolith!
... along with IP radio.

Haven't even peeled the damned thing, I was so excited to crank it up!

Controlling both of these unified Nodes is easy peazy, through mobile phones, a tablet or various computers.
I prefer to control this Icon through my iMac.

1972 - Pittman Pressing - Stereo

Set the WOPL Time Machine to 1972 today.
This is one of my all time favorite albums….one of 25 I would have to have if I was stranded on a desert island for life. I bought it new in 1972, and a few years later bought another new copy, which I have never opened. I didn’t do that very often, but figured if I ever wore my first one out, I would have another original pressing ready to go. I played it that much.
I saw them in concert in 1973, when their second album “Down The Road” came out, and they played music from both albums in concert, amazing show. They broke up a few months after I saw them.

Good stuff.

I use “2” for checking cartridge alignment with the center groove sibilance.
