Lee, did you have B.P. Empire before I mentioned it as a good Infected Mushroom album?

I had that in the changer the other day, still there, with some Luther Vandross, Joe Satriani and Aja. Just cranked it up and took a nap in the second bedroom sounded great. Seems the main rig, just Dahlquist DQ-10s and the DNA-1 amp seems to make tunes sound better than the two rigs in the bedrooms. But then the 10s are set up on the room properly. Played that CD set a couple times.

As to Tay-tay, she has had a few songs show up on the Echoes program of ambient music I listen to or stream each night. Airs at midnight, streams at 10pm, 12am, 2am and 4am for the two hour show found on stations across the US.

I believe I did. I was on IM 's website one day ordering everything I didn't have...and that was one... pre-converting vegetarians, so that was my interest. It seems they were still figuring out who they were or wanted to be...good stuff no doubt

Pulled these out of the CDC in the bedroom:
Jon Hopkins Immunity
Mark Knopfler-Sailing to Philadelphia, my house would be on the map on the inside cover under the disc.
Deep Forest
Massive Attack Blue Lines
Madonna Like a Virgin

Liked the Meet Joe Black Soundtrack CD, had some nice modern classical (according to the discogs comments about its contents.)

Heard some of that haunting probably Harmon Muted Trumpet during Echoes show last night so I hunted down my Miles Davis CDs from the recent windfall. Wanted to hear Bitches Brew (both discs) and Sketches of Spain since we hear that at our audio meetings. Also threw in Highlights from the Plugged Nickel and doo-bop. A good 5 discs of tunes for the day.

Good listening today and I'm rounding up all my CDs to put them in one place, those 3 CD footlockers and the Jewel Case Cabinet so I can find what I want. Few more weeks and I might have a handle on it. Then to sort the footlockers so I have the good discs in a single one.

More Miles Davis today.

Miles from Home
Amandla
*In Person at the Blackhawk, San Francisco, Saturday Night Complete, Volume II
...both discs
Peshey-Miles from Home...oops, not Miles Davis but hey, I haven't heard it yet.

*Back to the In Person, I received 2 of them but they look almost the same. One says Saturday night and the other says Friday night so I didn't see this until trying to find the Saturday in my discogs. Got a chance to update discogs with this pair of 2 disc CDs. But it shows up as only one selection, a 4 disc set with two booklets.

I guess I'll know when I'm on the last disc, as Peshay is Electronic Hip Hop, Drum'n'Bass, Downtempo, Acid Jazz.

MBV 'Loveless'

Uni. Youth. Having no money. Getting stoned and thrown out of lectures. Getting pished in the student union bar. Shagging around. Worrying about dissertation originality. Going to gigs and smuggling a teenth of Red Leb in to the venue 'for later'. Guinness. Girls. Gonzoids. Going home at 3am. Realising it isn't my home I slept at. Rinse, repeat.
Brings it all back. :D
