Radio 2, San Jose', Costa Rica
English speaking DJ's this morning.
Got the DC power supply back in the system.
I've two PL2000S2 preamps built exactly the same except this one has the rectifiers and transformer removed and is powered by the DC rack unit.
There is a absolutely huge improvement by powering it off board with that massive Power-One supply.
Jim was so right in saying go external and large.

Stone Rebel...A Door To Infinity
A French band. Instrumentals, no vocals. Long trance like tunes.
Very good work out for the speakers frequency wise, but still laid back, relaxed, and mellow.
Nice subsonic sound pressure.

Victim of the record bug since age five
Replaced the HD on my 7th gen iPod and replaced the battery a while back.
Bought a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50x headphones.
Binging on Black Sabbath…

Running into some issues with my amps lately, the 400 seems to have dead outputs and the 700 is making noise. Haven’t done any troubleshooting yet…

Might be the relay on the 400. I had to "exercise" the hell out of the relay a few times on my first 400 build. It would half-heartedly click with no audio. Wiring was correct and robust.
Was going to replace it, but no issues for a long time.
May have been related to line voltage at the time as I've replaced worn wall sockets since.
With the Furman power sequencers, all the relays engage and disengage with authority.
