what are you listening to?

Got in the mood for some dreampop, so I loaded a bunch of Cocteau Twins tracks onto my iPod.
After playing the tracks for a while, I decided to lookup some of their lyrics- and still can’t figure them out…

I have, I think, one only Cocteau Twins album and have played it maybe twice. Can't remember the album title but it's got the track Sugar Hiccup on it. That song is an ear worm for me that crops up from time to time.

Like right now......thanks a lot Mark.

“Sugar hiccup or she reals” always sounded like “sugar hiccup on cheerios” to me…

(As if their lyrics actually made any sense…)

Rodger Hodgson----" In the Eye of the Storm"

Such an angular face on that one.........

Just watched the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's version of "While my Guitar Gently weeps".... Some heavies on that stage that song, they all got to do their solo parts....uh.....then Prince did his.....fuck...that man blew the whole bunch off the stage. Just from a pure talent standpoint he was amazing. Then throw in his showmanship, creativity, spontanaity....the guy was off the charts....gone wayyyyy to early and so much potential to be realized. I'll admit, I didn't appreciate what the man was capable of...i wonder if he was.....

" An amp for every hertz...."

That's gonna take a lot of wire....

WKVX 960 AM Wooster OH on the SDRplay receiver. This continues to be an amazing device.
