go mr. george go!!!!
Ahhhhh, "The God Particle"I agree, Simon's music isn't for everybody ( don't get that) but i do indeed love every bit of it. Always well engineered and mastered. Never heard a bad Posford track... bout the time I think the horns can handle anything at 120 db plus I put on "God Particle"....the explosion and subsequent diffusion has taken more woofs than anything...

As Raja Ram said " I would say that Shpongle is a drug that's administered through the ears"
My "baby horns" sure make it an enjoyable listen,....... always.
You would really enjoy this new mastering Lee.
either the website time is wrong...or you get up early....lolPF....Meddle
Today a little Blues/Rock – Georgia Peach Music and some Texas Blues.
I bought the Allman Brothers Live at the Filmore East album new in 1971. To this day it has to be one of my top 10 favorite albums of all time. This is the original, and while they have re-released it, remastered it, added to it, this one still sounds the best to me. No detail can hide listening through the WOPL 700b. It is a masterpiece.

1971 1st Pressing – 2 Record Gatefold...
Hi Bob,First pressing, that's nice. I listen to one of the remastered vinyl versions that came out about 15 years ago or so; it's quite good. The first copy I had was a Quad disc, which sounded kind of thin, as I recall. Should have hung onto it but I sold it off after getting the remaster. Some days I'm an idiot.
Just found the 2014 release of Fillmore East with nearly complete recordings from all three nights over on the Pro Studio Masters hi-res download site. $82 in 24 bit/192 kHz resolution, less for 24/96 and FLAC files. It's titled The 1971 Fillmore East Recordings. Artwork looks to be the same as the original album. Have no idea if there's a vinyl version or not.
Gene, I have no idea. Pops are usually static electricity heard on AM.being lazy today...finished block yesterday...leo needed day off...i just cleaned a mountain of poop...fed animals..gathered eggs...showered...made popcorn...
streaming radio dos in bedroom...internet...not tuner...
question mr george ...radio dos on tuner makes popping noise on occasion...not on other channels...no pattern...sig strength shows full as do most stations...i did good on that antenna...
something is gettin in there...Gene, I have no idea. Pops are usually static electricity heard on AM.
Hi Bob,
That 2014 release of all 3 nights is a great set to have. For me that music is precious and having the complete (or more complete) set of recordings is fantastic. 24bit/192 will sound amazing as well. Great score.
There is a vinyl edition of the 2014, 3 night remaster. It is a 4 record set, and goes for between $300 and $400. Great material to have.
It definitely would Bob.It would be a sure candidate for transfer to 15 ips reel to reel if I still owned such.
...I have often thought about getting back into it, but .....so little time. I have wished I kept that deck many, many times. Never had a bit of trouble with it, just took really good care of it maintenance wise.
