Been awake for a few hours and since I got a new cart/stylus for the Rek O Kut, I decided to try it. Needed to do a hum check to see if my ground scheme was good to go with this metal arm. I put a new Pickering V-15 on it for the first test. Started out with a little Joe Walsh.

Sounds Excellent. Even with it sitting on the plastic wash tub (has some rumble but just from being on the plastic tub, nothing through the speakers). I hope to have the cabinet done today. Then with some insulation between the TT and cab and it should quiet down.

Moved on to Steely Dan........... Forgot how good this album is. This is a virgin album so no clicks pops etc...... I'm very pleased, I'll try another cart later.

He sounded pretty good but this Steely Dan sounds better. Now that the wife is moving around, I have to try something a little heavier with a bit more volume

Spent the morning helping my youngest son assemble a new Windows computer from parts.
Streaming Joni Mitchell all morn on YouTube while we assembled it.
Was only familiar with her top 40 songs. Heard many from the 70's I had forgotten.
